PURPOSEFORTE

PurposeForte.

A purpose-driven African development organization expanding access to superior education, technology, leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation and opportunities for young people and emerging leaders.

THE ORGANIZATION

Discover. Develop. Access. Impact.

Across Africa, millions of young people possess extraordinary intelligence, creativity, ambition and potential. Yet for many, the absence of access to quality education, technology, mentorship, networks, exposure and platforms can become a barrier between what they are capable of becoming and what they ultimately become. PurposeForte exists within that gap — a bridge between potential and opportunity.

PurposeForte is built around the belief that discovering one's purpose is only the beginning. The organisation helps people discover who they are, develop what they can do, gain access to opportunities and ultimately use their abilities to create meaningful impact.

The vision extends beyond simply training young people to acquire employable skills. It imagines an Africa where a young person's background does not determine the size of their future — where a university student, a young graduate searching for direction, an aspiring entrepreneur with an idea, a creative looking for a platform or a technology enthusiast trying to understand Artificial Intelligence can find the knowledge, networks and opportunities required to move forward.

THE PHILOSOPHY

#Tech4Opportunity

PurposeForte seeks to democratise access to technology education and emerging technologies — with particular interest in Artificial Intelligence, digital skills, innovation and the future of work.

School of Technology & Artificial Intelligence

PurposeForte's commitment to young people includes recognising those already creating impact. The Distinguished Undergraduate Student Awards (DUSAWARDS) celebrate outstanding university students based on merit, achievement, leadership, innovation, service and impact.

In environments where popularity can sometimes overshadow achievement, PurposeForte seeks to establish a culture where students understand that hard work, leadership, creativity and contribution matter. Recognition becomes more than an award — it becomes an encouragement to continue doing meaningful work.
